Tour Program
Day 1 : Arrival Cairo Airport
Arrival in Cairo: Your representative will meet & greet you at Cairo International Airport. Transfer by air-conditioned car to your hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel he will do your check in and give you detailed information concerning your excursion of tomorrow. Pick up to dinner in local restaurant Transfer to hotel and overnight
Day 2 : Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum
Today after breakfast we start exploring ancient Egypt with a visit to the famous Pyramids. The Great Pyramid of Cheops which was built by manual labor, is the largest of the three main Pyramids and is the only survivor of the Seven Great Wonders of the Ancient World,
the Pyramid of Chephren, which is the best-preserved, and the Pyramid of Mycerinus. Nearby see the Sphinx, a marvelous sight carved out of a natural rocky outcrop, the lion's body stretching 45m, with its paws 15m long Lunch in local restaurant.

Day 3 : Alexandria
Breakfast at the hotel Transfer from Cairo hotel and drive for 2hr.30 min to Alexandria
Visit the Catacomb of Kom el Shouqafa it is 30 m. high and built from Aswan pink granite, the Pompeii Column is thought to have been present from the people of Alexandria to Emperor Diocletian. Most of the remains around the column can be seen at the Greco-Roman Museum. At the top of the hill lies the entrance to the Kom al-Shuqafa Catacombs dating from the first and second centuries. They were discovered by chance at the beginning of the 20th, century.
Visit Pompey’s Pillar which is approximately 25m red Aswan granite column with a circumference of 9m, was constructed in honor of the emperor Diocletian., it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesarism. Lunch in local restaurant
Photo stop from outside for Qaitbay Fort: It is a 15th-century Islamic fortress built to protect the city from invading Crusaders. The Qaitbay Citadel is located in the northeast part of Pharos Island, on the exact spot once home to the famous lighthouse of Alexandra. The Citadel was originally established by Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf al-Din Qa’it Bay in 1544 as a fortress.
Panoramic visit from outside the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is dedicated to recapturing the spirit of openness and scholarship of the original Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Transfer to Cairo Dinner in local restaurant and overnight.
Day 4 : Cairo – Aswan
Breakfast in hotel and check-out Transfer to Cairo international Airport Fly to Aswan Arrival Aswan , meet and assist Pick-up to Visit High Dam.
visit Philae temple The temple of Isis was one of the last ancient Egyptian temples to remain active, as it continued to function until the reign of the Byzantine Emperor Justinian I (527–565 AD), who ordered the foreclosure of all pagan temples. It is here that a priest of Isis named Esmet-Akhom carved the very last dated hieroglyphic inscription, which dates to the late 4th century AD (394 AD). The temple was converted into a Christian church and many inscriptions were deliberately destroyed.

Day 5 : Visit Kom Ombo temple
Morning at leisure in Aswan Lunch on board Sail to KomOmbo, and after breakfast,
visit KomOmbo where we explore the exceptional beautiful temple of Haroeris (Horus the Elder) and Sobek (Crocodile God).
The temple was built with two symmetric entrances, halls and sanctuaries; it is the only double temple all over of Egypt. Sailing to Edfu Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 : Visit Edfu temple & Karnak temple and Luxor temple
Breakfast on board Pick up to visit Edu temple visit It is one of the best preserved shrines in Egypt. The temple was built in the Ptolemaic Kingdom between 237 and 57 BC. The inscriptions on its walls provide important information on language, myth and religion during the Hellenistic period in Egypt. In particular, the Temple's inscribed building texts "provide details [both] of its construction, and also preserve information about the mythical interpretation of this and all other temples as the Island of Creation."[2] There are also "important scenes and inscriptions of the Sacred Drama which related the age-old conflict between Horus and Seth.
Sailing to Luxor Lunch on board Arrival Luxor and pick-up to visit Luxor temple Luxor temple is dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship; it may have been where many of the pharaohs of Egypt were crowned in reality or conceptually (as in the case of Alexander the Great, who claimed he was crowned at Luxor but may never have traveled south of Memphis, near modern Cairo).
Visit Karnak temple Karnak Temple was the most important temple in Thebes (modern Luxor), in Upper Egypt. This was where the cult of the great god Amun of Thebes was conducted. As such, it was extremely wealthy and its priesthood held great political power. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7 : Valley of the Kings, Hatshubsut & Memnon - Fly to Cairo
Breakfast on board and check out Meet your guide to visit the West Bank of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings (where the tomb of Tut-Ankh-Amun (the visit to this tomb is not included), the guide will give explanations of the tombs to be visited, out of them because you are not allowed entry, the beautiful Temple of Der el Bahari, dedicated to the funerary cult of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Statues of Memnon Lunch in local restaurant.
Final departure Transfer to Luxor Airport to board your flight back home.
